AA Forum Group Welcome to the AA Forum Group of Alcoholics Anonymous. The purpose of the AA Forum Group is to inquire into the distinctions of Recovery and create the possibility of living a life as a Recovering person that we love and living it powerfully so that we can help others recover from alcoholism. This meeting is an open meeting and we request that you respect the anonymity of all that participate in it. We chose to live our lives based on the principles and practices of alcoholics anonymous and search for the 'more that will be revealed to us' by openly discussing and sharing the possibility of creating our daily life out of the future without forgetting the past nor wishing to shut the door on it. Preamble of Alcoholics Anonymous Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
